Homebuyer Survey & Valuation Report

This survey report is prepared on a standard format designed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

The Report will provide information on the general condition of the property, any factors likely to affect the valuation, and includes as assessment of rebuilding costs for insurance purposes.

Basically, a Homebuyer Report describes how a property is built, if there is anything wrong with it, and if so, how to put it right. It is intended to point out urgent and significant but not minor defects, and comment will be made only on those parts of the property which are readily accessible. The full scope of this type of survey is set out in the conditions of engagement which we will send to you before your instructions are confirmed.

A Homebuyer Report is suitable for most modern properties, and older properties of conventional size and design. This is probably the most popular type of survey, appropriate for the majority of houses, flats and bungalows.
